What is POP&BANG?

When you lift the throttle, the explosion and flame throwing of the exhaust pipe from the exhaust pipe is called POP&BANG. This feature reloaded into the ECU makes your car look more sporty and cool. Until recently, this feature was only for high-performance cars. However, our engineers have developed tuning files that bring POP&BANG tuning adjustments to many diesel and gasoline vehicles .

Loading the POP&BANG setting on the car's exhaust produces an echo of popping and cracking. We can explain this sound as the fuel contacting the hot exhaust before it explodes. The most common way to apply POP&BANG is to delay the ignition timing and ignite the fuel/air mixture later at engine speed. Once timed correctly, the exhaust valve will open to allow gas to escape as a POP&BANG.

It is created by the unburned fuel in the POP&BANG exhaust system. When excess fuel enters the exhaust system, its temperature rises and is ignited inside the exhaust instead of the combustion chamber. Noise can be exaggerated by installing a deca or full deca exhaust system. But the main cause of explosions and explosions is the ECU and the fuel of the car.

How is POP&BANG System Applied to Vehicles?

Two things are required when applying the POP&BANG system to vehicles. First of all, we need to change the software in your ECU so that it does not cut off the fuel as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator pedal. This means that even if you do not press the pedal, some fuel will be sprayed. Second, we delay the ignition timing during deceleration. This process causes the flame front to propagate later than normal. This means that when the exhaust valves open, the cylinder is no longer the only place where some of the combustion occurs and the flame front spreads.

As it is known, timing is very important for both security and performance. This can greatly degrade performance if the ignition timing is delayed. Therefore, the delay time is programmed to occur only when you take your foot off the accelerator pedal. This system is also available in the POP&BANG application we have made and it does not reduce the performance capabilities of your car in any way. It can even improve performance for turbocharged cars.

Is Turbo Required for POP&BANG Remap?

Turbo is not required for POP&BANG. Because the most important segments are ignition and fuel cut-off delays. The only difference between turbo and non-turbo cars is that turbocharged cars will benefit from the anti-lag feature. POP&BANG can also occur while the car is stopped. However, the sounds coming out of the exhaust pipe will be lower.

Is POPS& BANG Tuning Reliable?

POP&BANG tuning is perfectly safe if done properly, kept under control, well tested and not taken too far. In fact, many manufacturers offer POP&BANG popping sounds as a stock feature for their cars. This feature is included in cars with warranty and safety claims. The POP&BANG feature is featured in most famous vehicle models such as Mercedes-Benz (especially for AMG cars), BMW, VW and other VAG models. However, for other vehicle models, we have also developped POP&BANG.

POP & BANG Stages and Possibilities

Fuel amount and ignition delay level gives you lots of room to customize your POP&BANG remap. However, there are a few things to consider if you want a safe and smooth ride. We provide two-stage POP&BANG service to our customers in order to provide security and at the same time meet their demands.

SOFT POPS
In the first stage, the POP&BANG application creates a moderate popping sound. Some of our customers request such an application, and the first stage POP&BANG also provides some benefits. For example, for our initial application on most vehicles, you don't need to resort to any aftermarket parts or other hardware changes.

HARD POPS
But because some of our customers do want it much louder, we offer a second stage POP&BANGS for them. With this POP&BANG we are going to make it louder, but still within the safe margin for your engine. However, it is a necessity here that you no longer have a cat or opf as it will get damaged.
